Start with open tasks

Check whether each unfinished task is still needed, has the right deadline and has an accepted owner. Do not mark obsolete work complete as if it happened. Use the available controls appropriately and agree changes with the people involved rather than silently rewriting their commitments.

Review a few contacts and documents

Confirm important provider numbers and identify outdated files. Keep useful documents in the correct care circle with an appropriate audience. Caremily is not a long-term clinical archive or a legal retention tool; follow any professional record requirements separately when they apply.

Check who still participates

Review whether members’ roles match their current help. Family helpers cannot see private documents but can read shared handovers and contacts. For Teams, check active client assignments and employee accounts. Application access changes do not remove physical keys or externally saved copies of documents.

Keep the next month modest

Add the next known actions rather than a long speculative backlog. Agree any separate care circles needed for another relative, remembering that subscriptions belong to individual circles or organizations. A simpler current plan makes Caremily useful when the family has only a few minutes to check it.
