Decide what deserves attention

Agree which approaching unclaimed tasks or changed arrangements need a response. Keep routine completed work visible in the shared plan without expecting a separate interruption for every item. A visit handover can record context, while a task identifies a practical action and deadline. Caremily is designed for coordination, not continuous health monitoring.

Enable reminders consciously

Turn on optional notifications in the application settings and allow Android notifications when prompted if you want them. Check the device’s notification settings if nothing appears. Permission and app preferences are separate from the existence of tasks in the care circle. Leaving reminders off does not remove the need to check the plan.

Allow for delayed delivery

Background checks depend on Android scheduling, network access and device restrictions. A reminder may not arrive at an exact minute. Do not use Caremily as an emergency alert or as the sole way to communicate a time-critical problem. Agree a direct telephone contact and any professional procedures needed outside the application.

Review the plan even with reminders on

Check upcoming tasks during an agreed daily or weekly routine. If an owner changes or a deadline moves, update the shared task rather than trusting an old notification. Alerts should help the family notice a gap; they do not prove that someone accepted responsibility, saw the screen or completed the work.
