Choose the intended Google account

If the device has several Google accounts, select the email address you intend to use for Caremily. An existing email registration with the same verified address can be linked through the authentication system rather than requiring a second care plan. Do not assume that every account on the phone shares the same email address.

Check the workspace after signing in

After successful sign-in, confirm the expected care circle, tasks and membership. If they are missing, check the email identity before creating duplicate data. A new empty workspace is not evidence that the old information was deleted. Caremily’s account identification determines membership; being logged into Google Play alone does not grant access to a family’s care.

Understand the requested access

Google sign-in uses basic identity information such as email and profile. It is not intended to read Gmail, contacts or personal files. Review the sign-in screen and do not approve unexpected access. Keep control of the Google account and its recovery settings because anyone with access to it may be able to sign into connected services.

Keep purchases separate from identity

Google Play manages the purchase account and store subscription, while Caremily verifies access for the original care or organization. Signing in with Google does not automatically make a paid plan active. Use Restore purchases when appropriate and check the original workspace. Do not buy again simply because the account currently displayed is not the one you expected.
