Choose one immediate goal
Ask the person receiving care what would make the coming week easier. Start with one concrete need, such as covering three visits or organizing transport. Agree what belongs in the shared workspace and what should remain a private conversation. A focused starting point gives everyone a reason to use the plan.
Invite the people who will actually help
Give each helper their own account and explain the role they will use. In Caremily, Family admins and caregivers can access private documents; helpers cannot. Helpers can still see shared contacts, tasks and handovers. Do not put information in a handover if it should be hidden from helpers.
Write a small workable plan
Add the next few tasks with a deadline, then ask someone to take responsibility for each important item. A useful first task is “collect groceries on Wednesday by 17:00”, not “help more”. After a visit, record what was completed and what the next person needs to know.
Review after seven days
Check whether anyone still relies on an old chat for important changes. Remove unnecessary detail, correct unclear task names and confirm the next week. Caremily keeps separate care circles available if you later support another relative. The goal is a habit that the family can maintain, not a complicated administrative system.
